Jeffrey Blondes is an artist whose practice has always been rooted in the landscape and his direct, personal experience of it. Even as his medium has evolved from oil paint to high-definition film, the shift in tools has not changed his core sensibility—an unwavering and immersive interaction with nature and the effects of light and time on the landscape.
Having recently completed a film in Nantucket, Jeffrey Blondes will be returning to the island to give a talk at the Nantucket Historical Association house, Greater Light, about the intersection between time and nature.
Note: the film will be on display at Greater Light from 11am-4pm June 18-21 and 25-28
