Sara Dodd

Sara’s work pushes at the boundaries of the long tradition of our engagement with ceramics, emphasizing the fragility and delicacy of raw porcelain whilst utilizing its core strength. It is largely about alchemy with her as the mediator; she paints using the liquid clay to create the individual wafer-thin sheets which then coalesce and are fired to form sculptures or wall-based installations.
